I am warm, empathetic, and deeply committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients. I offer therapy for a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety disorders, stress, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, life transitions, ADHD, and autism.
My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
I am continuously learning and incorporating culturally informed, trauma-informed, and neuro-affirmative practices into my work. I believe in a holistic approach to treatment that considers healing for the mind, body, community, and spirit.
With a Sri Lankan background, I bring cultural understanding to my practice and can also communicate in conversational Sinhala and French.
In addition to my work as a therapist, I have nearly five years of experience in clinical audiology. During this time, I worked with people of all ages and backgrounds in Hobart and Shepparton who were experiencing hearing loss and related conditions.
