** For most updated information about our services, please go to hscps.au ** Yvonne Lee is a Canberra-based clinical psychologist. She holds the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) Area of Practice Endorsement as a clinical psychologist and is a Board-approved psychology supervisor with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Yvonne enjoys working with children, adolescents and their parents, adults and older adults for a range of presentations, such as disordered anxiety and mood issues, emotional dysregulation and behavioural issues, difficulties with adjustment/life transitions and interpersonal relationships. Yvonne provides a warm and non-judgemental space where her clients feel heard and supported. She works collaboratively with clients to develop insights into their struggles and expand their skills to help them live a meaningful life in accordance with their values. Yvonne utilises evidence-based therapies tailored to meet the needs of her individual clients, and her therapy approach is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). When working with children, Yvonne employs behavioural-, attachment-, and emotion-based parent training. Apart from therapy, Yvonne also has experience conducting cognitive, educational and behavioural assessments, as well as comprehensive assessments to ascertain diagnoses for children with learning needs, such as giftedness, Intellectual Disability (ID), Specific Learning Disorders (SLDs) and Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). As a board-approved supervisor, Yvonne also provides secondary supervision for provisional psychologists completing the 4+2 or 5+1 registration pathway, as well as peer consultations with psychologists and other allied health professionals for therapy- and psychometric-related consultation as well as reflective practice, and post-incident support.
