Overview

** For most updated information about our services, please go to https://hscps.au/ ** Yvonne is a clinical psychologist with PsyBA Area of Practice Endorsement and is a Board-approved supervisor with AHPRA. Born and raised in Hong Kong while trained and practising in Canberra, Australia, she brings both professional and personal experience of living across cultures, parenting, and navigating major life transitions. Yvonne's style is compassionate, grounded, and relational, shaped by an interest in trauma, attachment, burnout, grief, and longstanding relational patterns. Yvonne understands how difficult it can feel when old coping strategies stop working or when familiar patterns keep repeating, and she works with clients to not only manage symptoms but to heal at the root. Drawing on EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment- and somatic-informed approaches, Yvonne creates a collaborative and gentle space where clients feel safe, supported, and understood. She integrates practical tools from CBT, ACT, and DBT when helpful, but her focus is on trauma-informed depth therapy that fosters lasting change and reconnection with self and others. Therapy with Yvonne is less about worksheets or quick fixes, and more about moving at a pace that feels safe and sustainable. Sessions are guided by what matters most to each client in the moment; whether that’s finding calm and stability, processing difficult memories, or exploring parts of self that carry pain, shame, or protective roles. Her goal is to create a supportive environment where change happens through compassion, curiosity, and integration into everyday life.
