I’m a mental health clinician with over 12 years supporting children, young people, and adults across diverse settings—including family homes, out-of-home care, and not-for-profit organisations. My clinical background spans general mental health and alcohol and other drug (AOD) interventions, with a particular focus on complex presentations involving child protection and legal system involvement. I use evidence-based approaches to support individuals with intersecting needs, always centring their lived experience. Alongside my clinical work, I bring leadership experience from roles where I’ve supervised multidisciplinary teams, guided clinical governance, and supported staff development across community, disability, and forensic contexts. I lead with empathy and strategy, ensuring services remain inclusive, responsive, and aligned with best practice. Social Worker

I am a registered social worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and trained Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapist and Mental Health Clinician. With 13 years’ experience working in a variety of settings with high risk, complex and challenging children, young people and adults. I have also worked collaboratively with family members and significant people in the client’s life to achieve a holistic approach and improve outcomes for disadvantaged individuals. I have a sound knowledge in therapeutic techniques for adults, parents, children, and adolescents specifically in a violence setting. Equally I have an extensive knowledge of human lifespan development and behavior, trauma and attachment, family violence, forensic violent and sexual offending, sexuality and gender. I have worked in both front-line positions and management roles as a case manager, clinician, therapist and counsellor, within the school setting, in family homes, out of home care, disability, family violence, and most recently in forensic environments including minimum, medium and maximum security prisons. I have strong counselling and engagement skills and have experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups.
