Carmen Rossitto is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist with over 12 years of experience in various clinical settings. She is committed to providing personalised, evidence-based assessment and therapeutic support in a warm, compassionate and engaging environment. Her therapeutic practice is underpinned by the values of empathy, respect, authenticity, and inclusivity.
Carmen obtained her Honours degree in Psychology and Master of Clinical Psychology from Deakin University (Melbourne). Since then, she has worked extensively with children and adolescents as well as adults and older adults in public mental health, out-of-home care, and private settings. She is experienced in working with clients of all ages with various difficulties with mood and anxieties, PTSD and trauma, attachment/relationship issues, identity, personality, LGBITQ+/cultural, health and perinatal mental health. Carmen feels lucky to have gained experience working with the Indigenous population in her previous career in Public Relations in the education sector.
Carmen employs a blended range of modalities including; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
