Dr Frater has held positions as Consultant Psychiatrist at Mater Hospital (Adult) and Mater Mothers Hospital in Brisbane, and The Alfred Hospital in the Epilepsy Unit (Melbourne). Dr Maha F Khan graduated as a medical doctor in 2001 and started training in Psychiatry in 2007 with North Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. She completed her higher specialist training with London Deanery under Southwest London & St George's NHS Mental Health Trust. She received membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2013 and attained her Certificate of Completion of Specialty Training in 2016. She is on GMC Specialist Register, is section 12 approved and holds Responsible Clinician status. She relocated to Australia in 2021 and since her move has managed to attain Fellowship of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (Oct 2022). Dr Maxwell Marrows is a consultation-liaison psychiatrist with an interest in sports psychiatry. Growing up in regional Victoria, he developed a strong appreciation for the importance of accessible mental health care in rural communities — an interest that was further shaped by completing part of his medical education in regional Victoria through the University of Melbourne’s Rural Clinical School. He went on to complete his psychiatry training across metropolitan Melbourne, gaining experience in a broad range of clinical settings, with particular expertise in the interface between physical and mental health through his advanced training in consultation-liaison psychiatry. He also maintains a general adult psychiatry practice, including the assessment and management of ADHD. He is currently completing further study in sports psychiatry. He is known for his relaxed and approachable interpersonal style, helping patients feel comfortable and supported. Outside of work, he enjoys running, hiking, spending time with his family, and is a long-suffering Carlton Football Club supporter.
