I am a Provisional Psychologist who is currently completing a Masters in Professional Psychology. For the past ten years, I have worked in multiple roles supporting children, adolescents and adults to improve their physical, emotional and mental health in a range of settings that included yoga teaching and wellbeing event management, youth worker, and independent living skills facilitator. Before I entered the health industry, I worked in the corporate sector as an executive assistant.
I’m a firm believer in the therapeutic benefits of yoga and mindfulness practices. As a professional yoga teacher, I integrate these techniques into my approach, empowering individuals to cultivate self-awareness, resilience, and overall well-being.
Throughout my life journey, I have explored various avenues that have shaped my understanding of human behaviour. As a dedicated traveller, I have had the opportunity to witness diverse cultures and perspectives, enriching my ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life. I do believe the eclectic experiences I have had to date in both my personal and professional life enable me to embody a larger depth of relatability and understanding.
When I’m not working, you can find me indulging in my love for dark chocolate, cooking up a culinary storm, spending time with animals, and exploring new hiking trails. These activities not only bring me joy but also remind me of the importance of self-care and finding moments of peace and tranquillity amidst life’s demands.
