Mr Benny Wong(He/him)

Psychologist

I work with individuals aged 12 and above, supporting challenges such as burnout, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem, and addictive behaviours (including alcohol, cannabis, pornography, and gambling). I have a strong interest in working with high-masking autistic individuals, ADHDers, men’s mental health, and providing culturally sensitive therapy for Asian communities. Fluent in Cantonese and having lived in Hong Kong and New York, I bring a culturally diverse perspective to my practice. My approach is collaborative and tailored, drawing on CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and Schema Therapy to create a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and supported. Outside of work, I enjoy gaming, travelling, exploring new foods, and have a soft spot for alpacas.

Hi, I’m Sheyan! I’m a Provisional Psychologist with experience across private practice and school settings, offering both counselling and psychological assessments. I’m especially passionate about assessments for Autism, ADHD, and Specific Learning Difficulties in children and adults, and I take a human-first, collaborative approach in therapy. I enjoy working with Sri Lankan/South Asian men and neurodiverse individuals (being a Sri Lankan ADHDer myself), and I support clients with depression, anxiety, anger, grief, life transitions, postnatal depression, and relationship challenges. My therapeutic style is exploratory and strengths-based, drawing from CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, and EMDR to help clients uncover patterns and build the tools they need. I provide assessments for individuals aged 6+ and counselling for adults 18+, and outside of work you’ll usually find me at the gym, walking my dog, or hyperfocusing on a PlayStation game (currently God of War: Ragnarök).

Phoebe Meldrum(She/her)

Psychologist (Provisional)

I’m a Provisional Psychologist and Assessment Program Coordinator at Ascension Psychology Balwyn North, currently completing a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology/PhD researching how adult diagnoses of Autism and ADHD shape identity. My therapy style is warm, laid-back, and collaborative, with a focus on people as humans first, and I work in an LGBTQIA+ inclusive, culturally sensitive, and neurodivergent-affirming way. I support neurodivergent young people (6+) and clients experiencing anxiety, depression, school struggles, burnout, and more, and I’m especially passionate about assessments for Autism, ADHD, and Specific Learning Disorders. As an ADHDer myself, I take a strengths-based approach to highlight what makes people unique. I’ve worked as a behaviour support practitioner and in school and private practice assessments, and I’m currently helping grow Ascension’s assessment services. Outside of work, I love cozy PC games, caring for house plants, and unwinding with reality TV.
