Amy comes to Posity with a Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice and a Bachelor in Nutrition Science from Monash University. Amy is passionate about evidence-based learning and research, having published papers while working for Monash University's Nutrition and Dietetics department. Amy also brings clinical administrative, and project management experience to the Posity team. With well rounded placement experience, Amy has worked with a diverse population, ranging from 3 yrs, to older adults with various therapeutic needs. This has included a a Youth-Run organisation for young people with disabilities, and intensive paediatric assessment and intervention, using modalities such as Lego therapy, sensory processing theory, and early childhood intervention. Amy has a keen interest in paediatrics and a passion for incorporating evidence-based practice into her therapy. She is a proactive and enthusiastic therapist, adopting a family centred approach while promoting participation, engagement and independence with the participants she works with. Her playful, engaging and caring energy allow her to build rapport and connect with both children and adults easily. Outside of work Amy enjoys cooking, grabbing coffee from her local cafe and spending time with her dogs.
