Amy Barklamb(She/her)

Occupational Therapist

Amy comes to Posity with a Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice and a Bachelor in Nutrition Science from Monash University. Amy is passionate about evidence-based learning and research, having published papers while working for Monash University's Nutrition and Dietetics department. Amy also brings clinical administrative, and project management experience to the Posity team. With well rounded placement experience, Amy has worked with a diverse population, ranging from 3 yrs, to older adults with various therapeutic needs. This has included a a Youth-Run organisation for young people with disabilities, and intensive paediatric assessment and intervention, using modalities such as Lego therapy, sensory processing theory, and early childhood intervention. Amy has a keen interest in paediatrics and a passion for incorporating evidence-based practice into her therapy. She is a proactive and enthusiastic therapist, adopting a family centred approach while promoting participation, engagement and independence with the participants she works with. Her playful, engaging and caring energy allow her to build rapport and connect with both children and adults easily. Outside of work Amy enjoys cooking, grabbing coffee from her local cafe and spending time with her dogs.

Bridget Knight

Bridget has obtained a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the Australian Catholic University. Bridget has multiple years’ experience working with participants from paediatrics to adults with varying diagnosis, predominantly under the NDIS. Bridget has a keen interest in the areas of early intervention, play therapy, sensory processing, home modifications, housing reports and equipment prescription. Bridget has a passion for providing holistic support and bases her intervention on a family-centric approach to healthcare. She understands the importance of utilising a strengths-based approach and incorporates this into her daily practice.Outside of work Bridget enjoys cooking for her family and friends, going for walks with her dog Paddy, going out to eat and completing crocheting projects.

I also have a keen interest in assistive technology and home modifications which are tailored, practical solutions that integrate seamlessly into clients' lives, fostering greater engagement and autonomy in their environments.

She aims to utilise a strength-based approach when working with her clients and their families to ensure their full potential is reached.

Nicole has completed a Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice and a Bachelor of Health Sciences. Nicole has had previous experience working with paediatric clients in the clinic, via Telehealth and within the community. Nicole enjoys working with the participant and their family in providing strengths-based approach to support participants to be able to achieve their goals. Nicole has a particular interest in working with young people to transition to school and supporting children throughout their early years in school. Outside of work Nicole enjoys walking and playing with her dog, playing sport, spending time with her friends and getting outdoors.
