Aimee is a counsellor who provides warm, developmentally informed, and client-centered therapeutic support across the lifespan. Her practice is guided by evidence-based approaches and tailored to each individual’s emotional, relational, and developmental needs.
Aimee offers counselling that is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and responsive to neurodivergent profiles. She places a strong emphasis on building safety, connection, and emotional regulation as foundations for meaningful change.
In addition to her counselling qualifications, Aimee has completed training in Schema Therapy and integrates schema-informed approaches into her work with adolescents and adults as well as Theraplay®-based training and is able to offer Theraplay-informed interventions. This approach is particularly supportive for children and families, focusing on attachment, connection, self-esteem, and co-regulation through structured, playful, and relational experiences. Aimee integrates these principles thoughtfully into her work with children and caregivers, adapting interventions to suit each family’s goals and capacities.
Aimee is passionate about collaborative practice and works closely with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams where appropriate. She is committed to ongoing professional development and provides care that is ethical, reflective, and grounded in best practice.
