Meg is a Registered Psychologist who works with adults from all walks of life. She is passionate about supporting people as they navigate their inner world—helping them make sense of what they’re feeling, thinking, and experiencing. Meg brings curiosity and compassion to every session, tailoring her approach to suit each individual. Her goal is to empower people to better understand themselves and their needs, and to live more authentically in alignment with those needs.
Meg enjoys working with a wide range of adults, and has a special interest in supporting individuals experiencing the effects of trauma, anxiety, and stress, as well as those exploring concerns related to spirituality or religion.
In her therapeutic work, Meg draws from a variety of evidence-based approaches in attuning to the person she’s working with. Her work is grounded in an integrative and collaborative therapeutic style, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-based approaches. However, her practice is primarily shaped by three core modalities: Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Somatic Psychology and Parts Work. Meg’s approach is always trauma-informed, attachment-based, and affirming of neurodivergent experiences.
Meg holds an Extended Major in Psychology with First Class Honours from The University of Queensland (UQ), and gained her General Registration through the ‘4+2’ supervised training pathway. She is a full member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Incorporated (AAPI) and of the Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Association of Australia (EMDRAA).
Outside of her work, Meg enjoys hiking, exploring new places and a good cup of tea. Meg welcomes inquiries through reception prior to beginning therapy.
