Overview
Willow Mental Health Support (Willow MHS) is a service established by Mental Health Accredited Social Worker Rowena Gilbey. The aim of Willow MHS is to provide an intervention that consists of of an integration of focused psychological strategies, with the intention to help clients manage challenges within their mental health.
The Ethos of Willow MHS is that each client is an expert on their own life and will respond individually and uniquely to the interventions offered by this service. In light of this the interventions will be offered in the same individual and unique capacity, drawing on and guided by evidence-based therapeutic strategies such as but not limited to; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, General Counselling, Motivational Interviewing and Social Skills Development

Rowena provides interventions that draw from theoretical backgrounds, and engages with an integrated approach of evidence based therapeutic strategies.
Rowena believes in the client as the expert in their own lives and that the therapeutic relationship is key to the ability to engage in and apply therapeutic skills and techniques.
Rowena provides nurturing, practical support to clients navigating through challenges within their mental health.
