Dr Manisha Massey(She/her)

Psychologist (Registrar)

Hi! I am a registered psychologist (AHPRA | MAPS) living and working between Naarm and Kaurna Country, on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Kaurna peoples, in what is now called Melbourne (Victoria) and Adelaide (South Australia). I also hold registration as a counselling psychologist in India and have been practising since 2017. My clinical work focuses on supporting adults who have experienced trauma, particularly sexual violence, childhood abuse and neglect, and relational harm. I have worked extensively with South Asian clients across India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the diaspora, and I bring a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and neuroaffirming approach to therapy. I am interested in working with people in ways that honour culture, context, and survival, rather than reducing distress to diagnosis alone. I am especially drawn to values-led clinical and community spaces committed to cultural safety, inclusion, and care beyond the therapy room.

Sayaka Sayeed

Counsellor

Sayaka has a strong interest in cultivating culturally responsive and accessible practices in her work and in the wider mental health industry. Sayaka cultivates strong therapeutic relationships with clients from different age groups, cultural and neurodivergent backgrounds through using collaborative intersectional frameworks and maintaining authenticity, empathy, and curiosity in the counselling space with a focus on CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy and more, using multiple modalities as and when needed by her clients. Sayaka's counselling style is as directive or as flexible as you need. She believes everyone is unique due to their individual life experiences, which means that a cookie-cutter approach won’t cut it for most clients. She believes that everyone deserves to thrive – whatever that looks like for them – and that unlocking self-awareness regarding their strengths, values, relationships and areas for improvement are excellent first steps in the right direction.
