Rebecca has been a qualified physiotherapist since 2015 and has since worked in private practice musculoskeletal, cancer rehab and lymphoedema physiotherapy. Her passion lies in helping people overcome pain and functional impairments to achieve their individual goals.
Rebecca’s main areas of practise are:
- lymphoedema management – a build-up of fluid caused by damage to the lymphatic system or removal or lymph nodes, commonly occurring post cancer surgery, radiation, infection, or other medical conditions.
- cancer rehabilitation – aimed at minimising cancer treatment side effects and optimise quality of life at any stage in the journey.
- lipoedema – conservative treatment aimed at minimising the symptoms of this condition.
Rebecca also provides treatment for a range of conditions including neck and back pain, pregnancy related musculoskeletal problems, pre and postnatal rehab and sports injuries.
Rebecca is a certified PINC and STEEL Cancer Rehab physiotherapist, this means she has specific understanding of the effects of cancer and cancer treatment on the body. She is experienced in being able to assist anyone at any stage in their cancer journey. She has also completed further studies in Women’s health, clinical Pilates and dry needling.
