I am a Clinical Psychologist practicing in Sydney's CBD, and via Telehealth, Video-conferencing. I am conveniently located in a therapy suite near Martin Place (CBD). I am also available for Clinical Supervision with Mental Health Practitioners; including psychologists, social workers, and counsellors. I enjoy working with a diverse range of people, including adults, older adolescents, and families. I take a dynamic, person-centred approach to exploring your goals for life change. I work from psychological theory and evidence-based models, shown to be effective in helping people create lasting changes in their emotional and mental health. I have training in working collaboratively with clients, to deliver evidence-based treatments. I support people to draw from their strengths, inner resources, and culture; to make changes to relationship patterns, thinking styles, and psychological symptoms (e.g. panic attacks, anxiety, stress, depression, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). I have an honours degree in psychology from the University of New South Wales, and a Masters of Clinical Psychology from Macquarie University. I was the recipient of the Master of Clinical Psychology Prize in my graduating year. I am additionally trained in the following evidence-based treatment models: Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT) for Borderline Personality Disorder, and other personality vulnerabilities Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Full Member of the EMDRAA. EMDR has been named a first line treatment for PTSD by the World Health Organization. Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Schema Therapy Cognitive Behaviour Therapy I am a Psychology Board approved Clinical Supervisor, and enjoy providing supervision to Clinical Psychologists completing their registrar program, and to more experienced clinicians.
