Tomas Tapper performance psychologist Registered Sport Psychologist |General Psychologist | Workshop Facilitator ​Tomas is a Registered Sport Psychologist and performance consultant who works with athletes, coaches, teams and individuals to develop the psychological skills required to perform consistently under pressure and build sustainable high performance across sport, work and life. ​He works in private practice general psychology at the New Farm Wellness Centre and within sporting organisations, schools and elite performance programs to deliver practical, evidence-based workshops and consulting that translate sport and performance psychology into real-world outcomes. His balance of general and performance psychology helps ensure he is always keeping the whole individual as priority. Performance across elite sport and high-pressure environments With a background as a former elite athlete and over a decade of experience in competing and coaching internationally, Tomas brings a deep understanding of how individuals and teams develop dynamically within demanding, high-stakes systems. He has worked extensively across sport, including supporting athletes and coaches through multiple major campaigns including multiple Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as World Championships. Tomas applies performance and sport psychology principles across elite performing arts and specialist performance domains ranging from aviation to golf and dance to motocross. He also contributes to applied teaching and has in lectured and taught sport psychology at the University of Queensland.
