Timothy Rach Psychologist (Registrar)

I am a psychologist and Clinical Registrar that recently completed my Master of Clinical Psychology at QUT. Through the Master’s program I completed two years of practice as a psychologist in the university setting and one year of practice in community mental health. I primarily work from a psychodynamically-oriented framework which aims to provide a reflective and secure environment in which my clients are able to develop their understanding of self and relationships with others, based on their experiences, interpretations of these experiences, and emotions. I work with my clients on a regular basis and aim to support them in building an empowered sense of self. I am interested in working with clients experiencing relationship difficulties, difficulties with personal identity and self-esteem, loss of life satisfaction, difficulties connecting to emotion, recurring patterns in one’s personal and professional life, and life changes or transitions. I am also interested in working with LGBTQIA+ identifying clients. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, ADHD, and Autism. I also have experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialetical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
