A thoughtful approach to psychological care
────────────────────────
~ ThriveWise reflects the belief that human flourishing emerges where psychological insight meets wisdom and intentional living.
Many individuals, families, and organisations who come to ThriveWise are navigating situations that feel complex, tangled, or difficult to make sense of.
My work begins by seeking to understand the fuller picture. Our struggles rarely exist in isolation; they are shaped by relationships, developmental stages, and the environments in which we live and grow. Together, we gently untangle the “knots” that contribute to present difficulties - bringing clarity to patterns, pressures, and possibilities that may not yet be fully visible.
From this foundation, our work moves beyond simply managing symptoms. Through therapy, consultation, and psychological education, clients are supported to grow in clarity and capacity - gradually shifting the scale from surviving → functioning → toward genuinely thriving.
At the heart of ThriveWise is a belief that wellbeing is not merely the absence of difficulty, but the presence of wisdom: the capacity to live with virtue, intentionality, and meaningful contribution.
A final note - every life is woven into the lives of others: within families, communities, and the environments we share.
True thriving holds both the “you” and the “we”.

About Leonie
・•・•・•・•・•・• •・•・•・•・•・•・•
I’m an award-winning registered psychologist working at the intersection of educational psychology, counselling, community wellbeing, and faith-informed contexts. My experience spans school settings, private practice, and community mental health services in Australia and internationally through competitive scholarship programs.
Alongside clinical practice, my entrepreneurial interests in community wellbeing have led me to establish several initiatives, including ThriveWise Psychology. I also co-founded The Raphael Network (an Australian network of Catholic mental health professionals), Illume (community-based dialogue forums focused on social/emotional intelligence), and the ASEAN–Australia Strategic Youth Partnership (a regional youth leadership and dialogue initiative).
I have also served on Australia’s peak professional psychology body, the Australian Psychological Society (APS), contributing to the broader development of the profession. My work continues to focus on strengthening psychologically informed communities through advisory, research, and community initiatives that support human flourishing.
