Fiona Corrie is a highly experienced and accredited mental health social worker, Counsellor, therapist, and Supervisor with over 6 years expertise in the acute mental health service. She has been a Senior Team Leader working in all areas of acute and community health. Her strengths are with working with adults, families, children, adolescents and groups - supporting them with ranges of care. Her career has been dedicated to providing a solution-focused, strength based approach working from an empowerment model to help individuals and families navigate a wide range of mental health challenges. Diagnoses such as depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), personality disorders, conflict, and crisis, can leave a person wondering where to find support, my goal as a clinician is to support with strategies, resources, time and scaffolding.

Fiona has high experience working in the crisis and acute sector, her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), empowering clients to make lasting and meaningful changes in their lives. She is warm and empathetic and builds rapport and trust and supports many to build resilience and hope. Helping individuals achieve emotional balance and well-being is a passion.
