Mr Rodney Walsh

Psychologist

Rodney is an experienced Clinical Psychologist providing psychological and counselling services in Ringwood East. He is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and a Fellow of the APS Clinical College, as well as a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA).Rodney has a special interest in treating Eating Disorders, Generalised Anxiety, Perfectionism, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders (OCD), Social Anxiety. As well as providing psychological treatment and therapy in private practice, he has experience providing professional psychological services in educational and workplace settings, community health services, national mental health telephone and e-therapy services. He combines a warm and compassionate therapeutic style, with an understanding that each person is unique. Services are tailored to individual circumstances and specific challenges. He works collaboratively with clients to achieve meaningful change, to increase wellbeing and happiness, and to improve engagement and satisfaction with life.

Ms Margaret Karafilowska

Margaret is a Registered Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor with a commitment to helping people find contentment and a sense of acceptance within themselves and their relationships. She works in a supportive and client centred way, and her practice is based in cognitive behavioural, schema therapy, and brief psychodynamic approaches. She is particularly interested in how people experience mental health concerns due to unhelpful interpersonal and behavioural patterns in their daily lives. Margaret has over 10 years’ experience as a practicing psychologist and has worked in private practice, not-for profit, and academic/supervision positions. She helps her clients work through a range of concerns including adjustment/stage of life issues, anxiety disorders, depression, interpersonal problems, low self-esteem, grief and loss, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and gambling addiction. Margaret works with adults and late adolescents.

Ms Wendy Oh(She/her)

Psychologist

Wendy is a Registered Psychologist with a strong commitment to supporting individuals in their journey toward self-discovery, healing, and emotional wellbeing. She brings a client-centred, relational approach to therapy, working collaboratively to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, process emotions, and reconnect with themselves and others. Wendy draws on evidence-based modalities including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MB-CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Polyvagal Theory. She adapts her therapeutic style to suit the unique needs of each individual, helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, identity concerns, and emotional regulation. Wendy is passionate about working with people from diverse cultural and neurodiverse backgrounds, including members of the LGBTIQ+ community. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, she offers culturally sensitive care and a deep appreciation for the varied contexts that shape an individual’s experience. She works with adults and late adolescents, and is particularly interested in how early emotional experiences and relational patterns influence current wellbeing. Wendy’s approach is grounded in empathy, insight, and a belief in each person’s capacity for growth and meaningful change.
