Sharon Clark is a Clinical Psychologist
Sharon has a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Psychology from the University of Queensland and a Master of Clinical Psychology degree from the University of Queensland.
Sharon has an area of practice endorsement from the Psychology Board of Australia for Clinical Psychology. She is also a Fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists of the Australian Psychological Society.
Sharon is a registered provider with Medicare, DVA, Open Arms, WorkCover, and Victims Assist Queensland. She also sees NDIS clients who are self managed or plan managed.
Sharon is also accredited to provide Non-directive Pregnancy Support Counselling; a 3 session service available under Medicare (with a GP referral), to women within 12 months of a pregnancy.
Sharon has experience working with children, teenagers and adults across a broad range of issues and conditions.

Do I need a referral?
No you don't need a referral, however, a referral from a GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist, may mean that you can access a Medicare rebate.

A typical session is 50 minutes duration

Yes. Sessions can be in person, phone or video call
What are the costs and rebates?

NDIS clients are charged according to the NDIS schedule of fees.
With a mental health care plan, and appropriate GP referral, (or referral from a Paediatrician or Psychiatrist) eligible clients can access a medicare rebate for each session, for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
Health Care Card holders will be given a discounted rate.
You may also be eligible for a refund from your private health insurer.
