Mrs Sharlene Conneally

Counsellor

Phone0417 972 530(Mobile)
With training through William Street Family Therapy Centre and a Master of Counselling, Sharlene is a compassionate and grounded counsellor, committed to providing a safe, non-judgemental space for clients. She creates a space where people can slow down, feel heard, and begin making sense of their experiences. Many people move through life feeling disconnected from themselves, their bodies, or the people around them. Experiences such as trauma, addiction, betrayal, grief, stress, and relationship or family difficulties can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally shut down or unsure of who we are. Sharlene supports individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, stress, addiction, shame, grief and loss, emotional overwhelm, relationship or family difficulties, and the impact of betrayal or broken trust. She also works with those carrying the weight of choices, behaviours, or patterns that have caused harm to themselves or others and who may feel trapped in guilt, shame, or disconnection. Whatever brings you to counselling, you do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. Her approach is relational, grounded, and curious. Together, you will explore both the challenges you are facing right now and the deeper patterns that may be shaping your relationships, behaviours, and emotional pain. She draws from psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and systemic thinking to support meaningful and lasting change. Therapy is not about becoming someone different. It is about understanding yourself more fully, developing greater awareness and choice, and creating meaningful change in the way you relate to yourself and others.
