Dr Connie Kellett

Social Worker

Connie is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with 25 years’ experience providing counselling. She provides adults, couples and families with safe, respectful, empowering, trauma-informed, neurodiverse affirming, LGTBIQA+ supporting, non-judgemental and evidence-based therapy. Connie embraces the richness of individual differences while co-creating new narratives with clients through therapy. Therapeutic approaches include Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic, Feminist and Systems approaches, CBT / ACT mindfulness, couples and family therapy. Connie is a Victorian leader in responding to family violence and disasters and is a continuing researcher at the University of Melbourne. Outside of work Connie can be found hanging out at the beach, going on very slow jogs, or reading / listening to a good book. Ideally all three at once.

Dr Hunter Mulcare

Psychologist (Registrar)

Hunter has been a practicing psychologist since 2008 and is an endorsed Health Psychologist, Registered Supervisor and Clinical registrar. He brings a wealth of experience from his work in public hospitals, public mental health, alcohol and drug sector, and private practice. Hunter has extensive expertise in helping people manage and adjust to both acute and chronic health issues, as well as supporting family/partners of someone who is unwell. He has worked with a wide range of health problems and extensively with cancer patients. His doctoral research, completed through Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, focused on psycho-oncology, and he ran psycho-oncology clinics in public hospitals for many years. In addition to his work in health psychology, Hunter has a special interest in treating eating disorders, particularly adolescents with Anorexia Nervosa. He has received training in Family-Based Treatment (FBT) from the Royal Children’s Hospital to support young people and their families through recovery. More recently he was working with Orygen’s Eating Disorders Stream treating adolescents and young adults with restrictive eating disorders. Hunter takes a warm, friendly, and practical approach to therapy, and works with a wide range of psychological issues, including mood and anxiety problems, relationship difficulties, trauma, health concerns, and anorexia in adolescents and adults. His therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Existential Psychology, and Motivational Interviewing. For Anorexia Nervosa his approach includes Specialist Supportive Clinical Management, CBT-E and FBT A lifelong learner, Hunter recently completed a Masters of Clinical Psychology at Swinburne University. He also co-hosted the popular psychology podcast Two Shrinks Pod, which explored a wide range of psychological topics.

Dr Jo Mitchell is a clinical psychologist who works with adults to enhance mental health, wellbeing and performance. She has an interest in working with professionals, including athletes, experiencing burnout and going through life transitions. She completed a PhD in positive psychology. Jo is also a registered psychology supervisor for student psychologists and other mental health professionals.
