Overview

Tara has worked with children, adolescents, families and schools since 2001. She loves the hustle, and bustle, of education. As an Educational and Developmental Psychologist, Tara brings skills in understanding how difficulties can look at throughout the life span. Tara particularly loves working with the kids who walk to the beat of their own drum. She is curious about what is working for you, and your young person, as well as committed to helping improve functioning. Tara thinks of the world at perfectly imperfect. She is a straighter shooter, which she combines with the best of intentions, warmth and kindness. Tara has expertise in mood, social skills and learning in the school context. Her main therapy modalities are ACT and Narrative Therapy. She also uses attachment as a basis for supporting adults to help their young person thrive.
