Chris Arbuthnot (He/Him) Psychologist: PSY0002592884 I am a registered Psychologist, with experience working with clients across diverse ages, genders, cultures and abilities. I provide a client-centred goal orientated approach to psychology, drawing on a range of evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, CPT etc. I aim to provide safe, non-judgemental, collaborative, supportive environment for all of my clients. Days: - On Site: Wednesday and Friday. - Off Site: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday Areas of clinical work & approach: - Assessments (WAIS, WISC, WIAT, ADOS, MIGDAS) - Intervention (CBT, ACT, DBT, CPT) Areas of Special Interest: - Trauma

Qualifications MProfPsych (Current) BPsyche Science (Honours) Psychology GD of psychological science BA (Honours) Gottman Level 1 Pronouns he/him With close to four years counselling experience, Matthew employs a person-centred approach tailored to supporting everyone’s unique needs. From his personable character and analytical skills to helping clients raise their perspective on their personal challenges, he endeavours to equip his clients with effective tools to strive for a meaningful future and achieve lasting well-being. In combining his extensive studies in psychology, counselling and philosophy, a significant aspect of Matthew’s work involves helping clients gain deeper self-realisation of their thoughts, feelings and resulting behaviours. Matthew combines a wealth of insight on introspection and self-care with evidence-based practices in a supportive environment to foster growth and healing. This includes various interventions for building resilience, implementing behavioural modification and symptom reduction for conditions such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, burnout, and self/identity issues. He is also enthusiastic about working with couples and managing complexities within relationships. Matthew has also specialised in adapting interventions for neurodivergent clients and has primarily worked with those diagnosed with ASD and ADHD for the majority of his career.
