Ana Catton

Psychologist

Ana Maria Catton is a registered psychologist with over a decade of experience in the field of mental health. Having worked within the public and private sectors, Ana has developed a wide range of therapeutic skills, relevant to the treatment of an array of mental health presentations such as eating disorders, OCD, PTSD, personality, mood, anxiety disorders and dissociative disorders. Ana is also experienced in the management of behavioural issues resulting from neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and ASD. Ana has had extensive experience in working with children, young people, adults, and their families and strongly believes that a strength based and systemic approach is the best way to empower people to take meaningful action towards the life they want for themselves. Ana is a strong believer in personal and professional growth which is why she is passionate about ongoing professional development. She is skilled in the delivery of evidenced based psychological treatment such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Attachment Based Therapy (ABT). Ana completed her qualifications as a psychologist in Colombia, South America and subsequently moved to the UK and Australia in 2002. Roles & Qualifications • .
