Ryan is a highly skilled and compassionate General Psychologist with full AHPRA registration and a robust background in mental health and human resource management. He holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Central Queensland University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Charles Sturt University. Currently, he is expanding his expertise through a Graduate Diploma in Relationship Counselling. Ryan’s extensive experience covers a broad range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, stress management, and relationship dynamics. He specialises in providing support to adults and adolescents aged 17 and older, offering evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psycho-education, relaxation strategies, and skills training. His tailored, client-centred approach ensures that each individual’s unique needs are addressed effectively. A significant focus of Ryan’s practice is relationship therapy. He is trained in the Gottman Method, a highly regarded approach to couples therapy, which he uses to foster healthy, fulfilling relationships. Ryan also brings unique insights from his six years of service as a uniformed member of the Australian Defence Force (ADF). His military background gives him a deep understanding of the challenges faced by veterans and their families, allowing him to provide specialised care tailored to their needs. He has extensive experience working with individuals referred through GP Mental Health Care Plans, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), Work Cover, insurance, and the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA).
