You might be considering therapy because things have started to feel overwhelming, heavy, or difficult to manage. Perhaps you’ve found yourself thinking, “Everything just feels too hard,” “I feel stuck,” or “I can’t remember the last time I felt OK.” You may feel like something is wrong, wonder why the same patterns keep repeating, or feel as though you’re struggling while everyone else seems to be coping.
My approach to therapy is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and understanding. Rather than focusing on “What’s wrong with me?”, I believe it can be more helpful to explore “What happened, and how did I learn to cope with that?” Many of the challenges we experience make sense when viewed in the context of our life experiences, and together we can gently explore patterns, understand what may be contributing to distress, and identify what is, and isn’t, serving you anymore.
Sessions with me are warm, relaxed, grounded, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where you feel safe to bring whatever is present for you, no matter how difficult or painful. While therapy can involve meaningful and challenging conversations, I also believe there is room for lightness, humour, and genuine connection along the way. I take a conversational, non-clinical approach and work closely with clients to understand their communication and environmental preferences, prioritising care that is trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and tailored to your individual needs.
