I work from a humanistic (person-centred), existentialist and integrative approach. This means I approach clients with empathy, warmth and unconditional positive regard. I believe that creating meaning in our lives can help us to find fulfilment. I treat each person I meet with respect and I try to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where they can feel comfortable to open up about their thoughts and feelings. Building rapport is of the utmost importance to me and I make sure my clients feel heard and are validated. I value what each client brings to the session and I try to empower clients so that we can build a therapeutic alliance and collaboratively work towards a therapeutic goal.
