Dr Sim is a graduate of the University of Adelaide (MBBS) and completed his Orthopaedic surgical training in Adelaide in order to attain Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2011.
Following this, he travelled to Canada to complete a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Centre (London, Ontario). A multi-disciplinary centre of excellence, he had extensive experience treating sports injuries of world and Olympic class athletes, including on-field coverage of varsity teams. During that time he has also had opportunity to attend workshops, courses and visitations in North America with internationally recognised surgeons in the field of Sports Medicine.
Dr Sim currently heads the only Sports Injuries Clinic in the public hospital system of South Australia. This multidisciplinary clinic involving Sports Physicians, Physiotherapists and Orthopaedic Surgeons provides comprehensive management of all sports injuries.
