Overview
Kerin is a registered psychologist with over 15 years experience working in mental health. She strongly supports a non-judgmental and down to earth approach to her therapy style.
Kerin has experience working with a range of presentations such as complex trauma, post traumatic stress, mood and anxiety disorders, grief and loss, work related stress/burnout/relationships and personality disorders.
Kerin is trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy, with special interests in trauma, complex trauma, and assisting clients navigate relationships, recover from narcissistic abuse and manage toxic relationships.
She also works with members of the Australian Defence Force and welcomes DVA referrals.
Kerin is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPI). She is also registered to see clients under the Victims of Crime scheme.
