Overview

Sarah Stokely is the Director of Choosing Change, a provider of neurodiversity-affirming support for ADHD adults and the parents of ADHD kids. She offers personal counselling to adults via Telehealth services from Melbourne, Australia. Sarah is proudly ADHD and neurodiversity affirming and has a special interest in supporting adults who suspect they are, or are diagnosed with, ADHD, and the parents of ADHD/neurodivergent kids. Sarah is also LGBTQI+ affirming and and is passionate about being a safe provider of counselling to the LGBTQI+ community, and especially parents from rainbow families. With training and specialisation in trauma treatment and counselling, Sarah has worked with children, young people and adults across out of home care sector, family violence, family services and the youth services sector. She particularly enjoys working with people who are making life transitions, recovering from difficult relationships or family violence, and parents who are seeking the break the cycle of violence in their own parenting. Sarah is a PACFA Certified Practising Counsellor.
