Sarah has been working in the field of mental health for approximately 15 years and has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Sarah has a specialist interest in treating anxiety disorders, and is also skilled in treating trauma, grief and loss, low self worth, and difficulties associated with decision making and life transitions.
Sarah believes that most people, at some point during their lives will experience difficulties that can be helped through the process of talking about their thoughts, feelings and situation within a counselling framework. Sarah uses evidence based strategies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness and Solution Focused Therapy to empower clients to develop insights, practical skills and strategies, so they may make positive changes in their lives. Sarah works in close collaboration with clients GP's, Psychiatrists, school and health professionals in order to provide holistic care.
