Dr. Juliana C-Aiken is a positive, friendly, and multi-disciplined Chinese Medicine Practitioner who practices acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and remedial massage. Her treatment philosophy is to balance the function of the internal organs, to improve her patient's quality of life and enable them to return to health and everyday activities. She is knowledgeable in cancer treatment support, and general emotional disorders such as anxiety, depression, stress, insomnia infertility and women’s issues. Juliana also has a special interest in the management of acute and chronic body pain, digestive issues, low immunity, cosmetic acupuncture, weight loss and quitting smoking. Juliana has studied both Chinese and Western medicine degrees, completing her Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Western Sydney University and Nanjing University, and a Master of Medicine from the University of Sydney majoring in cancer and palliative care. She gained her extensive clinical experience from the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, various nursing homes and non-profit organizations in Victoria and New South Wales, as well as completing her Chinese medicine internship at the Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of TCM in China. Alongside her clinical practice, Juliana has a keen interest in Continuing her medical research in the areas of cancer and food as medicine. Akriti Shrestha (Aki) is a registered General Psychologist with a Masters in Psychology (Counselling Psychology). She has had experience working in both private and public communities with families and individuals, regarding complex situations pertaining to trauma, abuse, neglect, and family violence. She has worked with individuals of all age groups- from teenagers to older adults. She has also had experience completing Intelligence tests for children and has successfully conducted parenting programs aimed at helping parents of teenagers. Aki works from a client-centered perspective and draws from a range of evidence based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-based approaches and Solution Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Process Therapy, Trauma-based Therapy, and Schema therapy. Lynn is a clinical psychologist who specialises in working with children, adolescents, adults and families. She has completed a Masters in Clinical Psychology and Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology, She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She is also a board approved supervisor. Winnie sees clients with a broad range of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, family violence, sexual assaults, pain management, grief, trauma, PTSD, and is experienced working with refugees. She is able to provide counselling services in English as well as Vietnamese and works with children, youth, and adults. She has more than 14 years experience and practice, and began her psychology career as a counsellor with the Victorian Aboriginal Health Services. Winnie has knowledge and skills working with a wide range of age groups including, children, youth, adults, and the elderly. Winnie offers clients strategies that facilitate change and empower their potential by drawing on a range of psychological approaches such as, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existential, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT).
