Rosalie Leijten Certified Practising Speech Pathologist Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology), University of Sydney Bachelor of Behavioural Health Science, University of Sydney Rose comes to All About Kids with extensive experience working with infants, children and adults with a range of communication and mealtime needs. She works closely with families to help kids achieve their communication and mealtime goals. Rose offers assessment and intervention for concerns around speech and language, fluency, early literacy and mealtime concerns. With many years’ experience in the disability sector she also offers specialist assessment and intervention for complex communication needs associated with developmental and physical disability. She can help explore the possibilities of low and high tech Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) including technology-based AAC to match and tailor an AAC system to meet an individual’s communication skills and needs. Rose also has experience addressing a wide range of mealtime concerns including the assessment and management of dysphagia and sensory and behavioural feeding disorders and has a particular interest in infant feeding, including breastfeeding support.
