Rochelle Hammond Acupuncturist

AHPRA Registered Acupuncturist & Herbalist B.H. Sc. TCM, Grad. Dip. Ed., B. Sc. (Chemistry) Rochelle is a University Qualified and AHPRA Registered Acupuncturist and Dr of TCM who also brings professional experience in both science and education to her clinical work. Her clinical work as a general TCM practitioner typically incorporates gentle Japanese acupuncture combined with musculo-skeletal acupuncture, moxibustion (heat therapy), manual therapies (massage and cupping), and nutritional herbs and traditional herbal medicine where required. Rochelle’s approach to treatment relies on the use of traditional methods of diagnosis to discover the root cause of problems. She then works in partnership with the client to identify and implement small sustainable changes in lifestyle together with evidence based acupuncture treatments and herbal medicine that can have the biggest impact on a client’s long term health and vitality. Rochelle's goal is to assist her clients to rediscover optimal health, no matter their age or the complexity of their health issues. She treats a broad variety of conditions including reproductive health, digestive imbalance, musculoskeletal pain, stress related conditions and sleep disturbances. Her patients span all age categories from young children to older adults and Rochelle really enjoys helping her more mature clients rediscover their vitality. Rochelle’s post-graduate studies have included extensive and regular study with traditional master practitioners in Australia, Japan and overseas and long term involvement since 2014 in the Post Graduate Oncology Acupuncture Program at both RNSH and The Mater Hospital, Sydney.
