I am a clinical psychologist who is passionate about supporting people during life’s challenges. I am a down to earth, warm and friendly therapist with a good sense of humour. I work with adults (18+yrs) to understand your mental health, values, and priorities so that therapy can be tailored to meet your specific needs. I completed my Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of Queensland and have worked in hospital, community and private-practice settings.
I am experienced in conducting therapy to address a range of concerns including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, BPD, body image , insomnia and sleep issues, parenting, pregnancy and perinatal mental health, and adjustment to major life events.
I use a number of evidence-based therapies to address concerns and focus on improving emotional wellbeing, relationships and life satisfaction including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Based Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), mindfulness and self-compassion based approaches. I believe strongly in a holistic approach to mental health treatment which focuses on helping people to achieve their potential and reach their goals.
