He works with people across the lifespan, from children and adolescents through to adults and older adults, and brings experience from government, non-government, school and private practice settings. Rocco's interest in psychology began during his teenage years through a fascination with human behaviour and understanding how our thoughts, emotions and experiences influence the way we see ourselves and interact with the world. He has particular interests in anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, depression, OCD, ADHD and Autism, emotional regulation, stress, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, trauma and sleep difficulties. He also works with children and young people experiencing behavioural, social or emotional challenges. Rocco may be a good fit for you if... You may be experiencing anxiety or panic, getting caught in worries or obsessive thoughts, feeling low or overwhelmed, struggling to manage emotions, or navigating ADHD, Autism or other aspects of neurodivergence. For parents, Rocco can also support children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, big emotions, behavioural difficulties, bullying, social challenges, ADHD, Autism and other concerns affecting their wellbeing. Rocco's Approach Rocco has built his career around a gentle and client-centred approach to therapy. He believes psychological treatment should be collaborative and tailored to the individual. His work is grounded in evidence-based practice and draws upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy and mindfulness-based approaches. LGBTQIA+ Wellbeing Rocco has extensive experience working therapeutically with members of the LGBTQIA+ community across the lifespan, supporting people with a broad range of mental health, relationship and life concerns. This sits within Willow Tree's broader commitment to being an LGBTQIA+ inclusive and affirming practice. Practice Director Rocco founded Willow Tree Psychology & Wellbeing with a vision of creating a psychology practice that feels warm, welcoming and inclusive - a place where everyone can feel that they belong. As Practice Director, he is proud to work alongside a diverse team of psychologists who share a commitment to providing thoughtful, evidence-based and individualised psychological care. Rocco also provides clinical supervision to psychologists within Willow Tree and is not currently accepting external supervision referrals. Appointments In-person at Willow Tree Psychology & Wellbeing in Felixstow, Adelaide, with Telehealth available Australia-wide where clinically appropriate.
