Rima Alkadamani – or Mimi, as many know me – and after two decades working as a caseworker and project officer within government and non-profit organisations, I felt it was time for something different.
I wanted to move beyond the limitations of bureaucracy and create a space where care feels more personal, more connected, and more human.
Mimicares was born from that vision. I have finally found my place where I can help individuals and families feel seen, supported, and empowered.
I was first drawn to counselling and therapy because of a chance encounter with an inspiring lecturer who saw something in me that I hadn’t yet recognised.
Through kindness, empathy, and compassion, I have embraced my role in helping people navigate their own challenges, fostering hope and resilience in their lives.
I have always envisioned a practice where I could now offer individualised care – one that priorities compassion, connection, and meaningful support. That vision has now become Mimicares, a space dedicated to helping individuals and families on their journey toward healing and growth.
I hold a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and a Bachelor of Health Science (Behavioural and Social Sciences), along with further training in:
