Rachel is an accredited Exercise Scientist and Allied Health Assistant.
Rach has been heavily involved in tennis since her teenage years however, after a series of shoulder injuries and working with physio’s for her rehab, she really saw how a variety of different forms of exercise could aid in injury rehabilitation not just for herself but for many others.
Rach also had the opportunity to travel to south India with the Richmond Institute of Sport through a company called Primitive Sport where she engaged in delivering exercise programs and running performance tests to children in a variety of different communities. Prior to completing her studies, she spent 3 years living in Spain and Scotland where she did lots of travel alongside teaching English and attending a Spanish language academy.
Rach has gained experience within the strength and conditioning rehabilitation area within organisations such as the Richmond Institute of Sport, Richmond AFLW team and in a community setting where she has worked to deliver exercise programs to culturally and diverse individuals. Rach has a strong passion for the neurological population and hopes to commence the Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology shortly, to expand her knowledge and scope of practice to help as many people as she can to achieve their health and fitness goals.
Rach is hugely passionate about travel and learning languages; Spanish is her second language!!! She enjoys reading, writing and watching movies in Spanish to ensure that she is always keeping her brain active and up to date on all the lingo.
