I have a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) and Master of Counselling. I work as a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Supervisor (Individual and Groups) in Private Practice in Floreat.
My therapeutic approach is person-centred and primarily informed by recent developments in the neuropsychological understanding of attachment and trauma, as well as the usual cognitive behavioural interventions. I have sound knowledge of intervention strategies for adolescents/children for whom the standard approaches are often ineffective. I thoroughly enjoy working with people of all ages and from all walks of life.
I have experience working in the following areas:
• Young adults, adolescents and primary aged children experiencing severe and complex developmental, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
• Adults experiencing difficulties with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, addictions, interpersonal and personal stressors, anger, abuse and domestic violence.
• Parent/child relationship challenges and communication navigation.
