Overview
In Wik language of Aurukun, Cape York, Nint Minh May translates to R U OK.
This is where my passion for indigenous health as a Clinical Nurse started and my cultural education began. I have travelled Cape York and Southeast Arnhem Land whilst living and working in numerous communities over the years.
Drawing on my many years of practice as a Registered Nurse (Bachelor Nursing), and a Credentialed Diabetes Educator (CDE), the goal is to provide a safe and holistic service for people living with Diabetes. Working closely with your medical and allied health professionals allows a team approach for your care.
Here at R U OK Diabetes we specialise in Type 2 Diabetes and Gestational Diabetes for indigenous and non indigenous people.
