My approach draws upon my education and experience in psychology, counselling and health promotion. I use an eclectic blend of evidence-based techniques, including person-centred, narrative, and solution-focused therapies, as well as motivational interviewing.
I also bring more than 25 years of professional experience in public policy and medical research around chronic health conditions. More recently, I have provided face-to-face, phone and Web-based support to hundreds of autistic people and their families.
My practices are:
Person-centred
Diversity / neurodiversity -affirming
Trauma-informed
LGBTQIA+ friendly.
