Emma Lapierre (she/her), is an Accredited Social Worker and mental health clinician. While supporting folks of all ages, she specializes in therapy for adolescents (12+) and young adults.
As a social worker, she takes a holistic approach to mental health care—considering not just individual symptoms, but the broader context of a person’s relationships, environment, and lived experiences. Her practice is grounded in neuro-affirming and trauma-informed principles, ensuring that care is respectful, inclusive, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and ways of being.
Her clinical practice draws from mindfulness, art, dialectical (DBT), and cognitive behavioural therapies (CBT).
Emma brings experience from diverse settings, including private practice, emergency mental health services, leading community mental health teams, and violence against women programs.
She’s currently accepting new referrals for both in-person and online therapy. She’s always happy to chat further about how she can best support young people.
