Alexis Downie

Exercise Physiologist

Alexis is particularly passionate about oncology, supported by a thorough understanding of current research and personal insight gained through observing a family member’s cancer journey. Alexis is skilled at how best to incorporate exercises at all stages of a client’s journey to assist with lymphoedema, fatigue, anaemia as well as maintaining and regaining muscle and bone strength. Alexis is also experienced in assessing and treating clients with a variety of health conditions including musculoskeletal, cardiac, metabolic conditions and disabilities. Alexis also enjoys working with children and takes a thoughtful, flexible and fun approach when planning sessions and problem-solving to suit the child’s needs on the day.

Jack Anning

Exercise Physiologist

ack has been an Accredited Exercise Physiologist since 2019, working with clients across a broad variety of health goals and conditions. His passion for effective injury management has been strengthened by his firsthand experience recovering from an ACL reconstruction and his safe navigation returning to competitive sport. Jack’s particular areas of interest in the management of musculoskeletal conditions, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and those undergoing pre and post-surgical rehabilitation. He finds it incredibly rewarding to witness how a clients’ progress in-clinic translates to long-term improvements in quality of life. When he's not in the clinic, Jack spends his time on the golf course with friends, training for upcoming marathons and enjoying beach walks with his dog Vera.

Exercise Physiologist

With seven years of experience as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Jen brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in managing musculoskeletal conditions and chronic health issues. Jen continually strives to stay at the forefront of developments in exercise physiology and her approach to treatment is centred around effective evaluation and evidence-based interventions, ensuring her patients achieve optimal outcomes. Jen is particularly dedicated to enhancing the functional strength and mobility of older adults as well as guiding individuals through pre-operative and post-operative rehabilitation. helping them maintain their independence and improve their overall quality of life. Her commitment to her patients’ well-being is reflected in her personal approach to care, ensuring that each patient’s unique needs are met with precision and compassion.

Kristel Roelfs

Exercise Physiologist

Kristel is a dedicated Clinical Exercise Physiologist with three years of experience supporting NDIS participants. She specialises in neurological conditions and spinal issues such as scoliosis and kyphosis. Kristel has a strong background in working with older adults, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and independence through prescription of tailored and progressive programs. She is also passionate about working with children, particularly those with behavioural challenges or developmental delays. Her warm, engaging approach and strong communication skills, helps build trust and encourage participation. Kristel focuses on developing motor skills, coordination, and confidence in fun, interactive sessions designed to keep kids motivated and supported. In her free time, Kristel enjoys training her Labrador puppy Pickle and preparing for a triathlon she plans to compete in at the end of the year.
