Emma Shaw is an APA titled Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapist, member of the Australian College of Physiotherapists and owner of PhysioSpec Pelvic Health & Rehabilitation. Emma completed her degree in Physiotherapy at Griffith University, Gold Coast in 2015 and has been working privately in Tamworth since. She has always had an interest in the area of Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapy and started a degree in Clinical Physiotherapy Continence and Women’s Health at Curtin University, Perth in 2018, completing it in 2020. She has a particular interest in two areas; women in the childbearing year and pelvic pain. Her practice includes seeing women for incontinence of the bladder or bowel, difficulty emptying the bladder or bowel, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic floor dysfunction, pre and post-op gynaecological surgery, pelvic girdle pain, pain with intercourse (dyspareunia) and antenatal and postnatal women.
