You may be feeling anxious, low, stressed or overwhelmed; struggling with intrusive thoughts or compulsive behaviours; dealing with the effects of difficult or traumatic experiences; or finding confidence, relationships or body image challenging. Perhaps you're a teenager or young adult feeling overwhelmed by school, university, relationships or expectations about the future. Or you may be an adult navigating a period of change, feeling stuck in patterns that aren't working for you, or wanting to better understand yourself and make meaningful changes. Paul's Approach Paul believes that everyone has the capacity for growth when they have the opportunity to reflect, recognise their strengths and connect with what genuinely matters to them. His approach is warm, empathic and collaborative. His therapeutic approach is integrative and draws upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and mindfulness-based approaches. Cognitive & Educational Assessments Paul also has a strong interest in cognitive and educational assessment. With a background in teaching and experience working as a psychologist in government and not-for-profit educational settings, he brings a valuable understanding of both psychology and the learning environment to the assessment process. Paul provides cognitive and educational assessments for children from 4 years of age, adolescents and adults, using a range of recognised, standardised assessment tools.
