I’m Rachelle, founder of Coastal Glo, Tasmania’s first independent dental hygiene clinic, leading a new chapter in the modern era of dental prevention. As a local to Northwest Tasmania with nearly 20 years’ experience, including roles in general private practices and specialist orthodontics, my career began in the Royal Australian Navy’s Dental Branch, where I deployed alongside international dental hygienists and later graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne. At Coastal Glo, I offer longer, personalised appointments and signature services tailored for pregnancy, peak performance athletes, holistic health seekers and patients under specialist care. I also provide orofacial myofunctional therapy to support airway health, facial growth, and sleep at all life stages. Community connection is at the heart of what I do, through education, events, and partnerships. Alongside me is my therapy dog Col (short for Colgate!).
