Matthew Persello

Matthew specialises in therapy for adolescents (13+ years) and adults, with a strong focus on men’s mental health and the LGBTQIA+ community. Matthew also offers couples counselling, providing a safe space to navigate relational complexities. With a rich educational background, Matthew earned his psychology honours degree through studies in both Australia and the United States. During this time, he conducted a yearlong research project exploring romantic self-sabotage within gender and sexually diverse populations. Matthew takes a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to therapy, tailoring evidence-based techniques to meet the unique needs of his clients.
